Small update!
First off, thank you to everyone who’s following. I apologize I don’t update more often, but I’ve been extremely busy with work/school. Now that most of that is done for the summer, I’ve been editing the sequel more and it is now halfway through my editing process (the entire first draft has already been completed). I have been sending out sections to be edited by someone else, and I’m very grateful for their help. That being said, the date when it will be posted will still be September 2012. I still don’t know an exact date yet; I’m aiming for the first week, though, and will have a better idea once all the initial work is done.
I’ve received an email with some questions that people wanted to ask me recently, and I wanted to extend the offer to here as well. If there is a question that you’ve had about the story, the characters, influences, or anything like that, feel free to send it along to me. I will try to update here with the answers for those who’ve asked as soon as I can.

How is the writing process going?
Good! I’ve actually been meaning to post on here about it. The rough draft is done; the first section has gone to a beta, and now I’m waiting for my school to be over (mid April) before I can seriously look at it again for editing, rewriting, and any other part of it. Definitely still sticking to the September timeline I gave when I will be able to post it.
"it may be seven years after the initial piece is finished, it may be in another country, another lifetime away" was that planned haha?
Hahahaha probably, knowing the way my mind works. I’ve had the idea for the sequel for awhile, but it was never fully formed until about three months ago.
when will the spanish version come out if it will idk?? :D
I can’t answer that right now, but I know that Lucia is doing the main work for that. I think she’s on chapter three, so it’ll be awhile.
I only speak English and a tiny smattering of schoolgirl French, but should you ever need someone possessed of an unhealthy obsession for grammar, I'm available!
hahah, you should edit the sequel for me then! ;) i’m terrible at catching my own spelling/grammar errors.

Just curious, how is the second version of The Dove Keeper different from the first? I was only aware of the current one. Thanks!
if by the second version, you mean the sequel then this one takes place seven years later and is what happens after paris. there is also an epilogue that was posted awhile ago that was their time in paris.
edit: the internet version and the book version on lulu.com are the same text, but with names switched out so Frank becomes Thomas and Gerard becomes Bernard for legal reasons. hope that helped! :)
